The perfect marriage between two breweries saw the birth of this refreshing Rye Saison. Brewed with organic Azacca hops, all organic malt and lots of tender love... this subtly spicy saison ends with a tropical fruit finish that’s patio perfect and sure to please. ’Tis the season stags and stagettes, so go get your rut on.

Cloudy, thin head, light tan. Has mellow banana on the nose. Sweet, yeasty, kind of underdeveloped.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color with medium head. Moderately sweet and with stronger body than the average Saison, this helps to blend with the strong spicy profile, and quite strong bitterness, a bit vegetable. Some smell of gutter water (and light banana).
Not too bad, but rather chaotic.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out spicy saison yeast upfront, followed by earthy fragrance. Flavour is similar, with spicy saison yeast, crisp biscuity malt and some light herbal notes. Pretty nice saison as far as North American standards go. Spicy, dry and low in esters, though not particularly complex. Okay.
