Hazy and blonde with a thin, frothy head. Nose is floral, some herbal hop, but also sticky pale malts and plastic phenols...when Belgian yeast isn’t on form you get this. Peppery on the palate, yeasty, with more alcohol than you’d expect. Has a dry, herbal hop note, and the malts are nowhere near as sticky as the nose hinted. Still a bit lacking in refinement, especially being a 5.5% beer with noticeable alcohol, but ok.

Bottle - Grassy lemon notes with nice peel notes. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Bright grassy notes, peppery and a nice bitter finish. Not to bad, it works and quite classic.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a good mix of saison yeast and citrus dry hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with saison yeast, citrus, and floral dry hopping. Awkward blend of hops and saison, but it's not terrible.
