On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours a deep dark ruby red with a small beige head. Aroma of rich caramel malts, deep dark fruits, and brown sugar -- very rich and fruity. Flavour of deep caramel tones, dark fruits, and dry bready malts. Full-bodied and dry fruity, with little sweetness. Rich palate, with a low sweetness and complex body. Excellent.

Bottle. Hazy deep amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, citrus, pine, port wine, mango, tangerine and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of toffee, pine, mango, citrus, bread and light booze. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nicely malty and quite balanced.

0.65l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a cloudy plum-orange one with a nice bubbly and quite lacing off-white top. Really hoppy with pine and and quite a malty-sweet aroma. Quite fruity also, yeah, and definitely sticky! Like it. It's wheat-dry on the taste. Hay, dust and a strong pine bitterness all the way. It's about average on the carbonation and quite thick and sticky on the mouthfeel. Some peachy-sweetness here with a strong lingering bitterness. On the sweet side at first perhaps, but really enjoyable and a strong hoppy bitterness is doing it's best to balance this. A full bottle could perhaps have been a bit to much perhaps. Perhaps? Or was it simply to much perhapses? Anyway, enjoyable beer from two enjoyable brewers. 26.12.2012

Tap at the Euston Tap 01/02/13. Dark amber with a thin off white head that clears to a mere swirl. Nose carries caramel malts, sugars, booze, candyfloss. Taste follows, sweetish sugars, dark fruits, caramac bar, toffee. Full bodied, minimal carbonation, sweet boozey finish. Decent.
