Kinda muddy light brown. Thin head. Has a nice - if inexplicable - smokey nose. On the palate, this is sweet with a touch of old ale toffeeness, barrel, touch of tartness. Odd, awkward beer.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color. Mild smoke aroma. Light mouthfeel, with light residual sweetness, some mushroom note, light smoke.
Weird but not unpleasant.

Draft - Very hard to describe, some red fruit and light peat. Cloudy Amber gold with a decent beige head. Cheese and peat, much like the nose. Very odd.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours opaque cloudy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is rather earthy and peated, with wood barrel note, armpits and bready malt. Flavour is very unusual, with strange peaty smoke character, armpits, earthy tones and dry bready malt. The peat is odd and rather herbal on the finish. Strange.
