This is a hyper local collaboration between Powell Brewery and Odd Society Spirits. We’ve taken the “Ode to Citra Pale Ale” and aged it in Odd Society’s “Wallflower Gin” barrels to produce a botanically charged, slightly oaked, and incredibly delicious version of the Citra hopped ale. Show Less

Slight haze, amber. Aroma is a blast of gin, juniper is big, nice balance with a lot of spice, good balancing sweetness, though maybe too gentle there to balance all this gin.

Draft - Piney and green leafy herbal notes. Rosemary. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Soft and caramel malts with a melange of green herbs. Great with turkey.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rosemary upfront, with subdued gin botanicals. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of cooked rosemary and a touch of juniper. Tastes like a roasted turkey dinner. Much less pungent than the original incarnation of this. And much less interesting.

On tap at Alibi during 800BC event. Pours a clear copper golden with a tan head. Aroma is herbally with gin notes. Similar taste with herbals and gin notes. Quite odd, but not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Clean amber color. Powerful and nice aroma of juniper, with a minty note. Dry and smooth, some malt, light butter note, light juniper note, robust bitterness.
Chaotic.
