Bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours gloopy dark brown with a thin brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, cinnamon, p.x. Taste is Christmas spices, sweet sherry, cocoa powder, some coffee too. Elegant palate. Lovely.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable dark tan head. Clear aroma of coffee and malt, with touches of yeast and cinnamon. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike flavour with notes of yeast and malt and touches of spices (cinnamon and cloves?). Bitter, roasty and estery aftertaste, with dry hints. Warming alcohol presence. Very nice. Well-balanced and highly enjoyable. Good work, Fanø!

1st Batch as Fanø Imperial X-mas Porter (Kunstner Øl No. 1). Has held up amazing after 7 years. Pitch black, foamy dark brown head, thick velvety mouthfeel. Roasted aromas, lots of chocolate, raisins and spices. Taste heavily roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Sweet at first with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Great

Bottle@Malmö share as Imperial X-mas Porter (Kunstner Øl No. 1) (17/06/2017) - pours black with a tan head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, some coffee, rich toffee and caramel sweetness, dark dried fruit shred, vanilla and light spice nuances into the sweet roasted finish. Still holding up well despite the 2015 BBD.
