750mL capped bottle gifted by Andrew, thanks man. A light gusher after popping the cap. It's generally rather plain. Aroma has a thick, sweet malt character with spoiled fruits yeastiness. Flavor has some tartness as well. If I look for bugs, it's light herbal and funk. But mostly a spoiled fruits and malt beer. Seems like this wasn't the goal of this beer.

Bottle - Soured Amber malts and candy cherry notes. Cloudy Amber with a decent beige head. Soured red malts and a slight ketchup note. Just OK.

Cloudy, thin head. Light brown. This is quite bretty on the nose. There is a bit of brett on the palate, with a touch of toastiness. It’s just another brett beer, and not that clean, so in that sense it’s a bit disappointing.

750mL bottle, (warning) gushes upon opening, pours a cloudy orangey brown with a large white head. Aroma brings out tart fruits, light brett, oak, and some earthy notes. Flavour is complex, with lots of earth, wood, oak, leather and tart stone fruits. The gushing fortunately does not correlate with the quality, as there is no infection or anything. Earthy, woody, and leathery on the finish. Very good.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy copper with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, grape, oak, yeast. Medium body, oak, brett, grape, apple skin, yeast, nice tartness, light dry finish, very nice.

Draft 7 oz pour at Holy Mountain, Seattle. A copper reddish pour with plenty of foam head and lacing. This is far from what I would expect from a Biere de Garde. Tart, fruity, grape dominated aroma. Flavor is quite a bit tart as well, cream body, grape, cherry, with. Rich malt background. A wild lager. I love it. Grape and mixed berry continue. A bit dry as a finish as well. A very impressive beer, whatever style you would like to call it. Yum!
