On tap at the tasting room. Has a black body and light beige head. Bright barley on the nose but nothing else. Flavour is good sharp barley, soft coffee notes, dark chocolate. Dry finish. Nice porter but hard to pick out of a crowd.

Bottle - Cocoa, toast, light spice and some vegetal notes. Deep jet brown with a small light brown head. Light spice, chocolate and some toast with a bit of chilli heat on the throat.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of cocoa upfront, with a little chili peppers. Flavour is very thin, with dry cocoa and light chili pepper spiciness. Thin and weak, without any complexity. No good.

Medium brown. There isnβt much head. On the nose, This has a light chocolatey note on the, but itβs thin and has little nuance. This has a chocolate note on the palate, maybe with light spice. Pretty simple, and doesnβt bring much of that Mexican character.
