A great alternative to mainstream, big brewery lager while also being unique. Light, crisp and dry. Slight sweetness from the rice.

On tap at the brewpub. Has an aroma of soft grain, sort of sharp. Good yellow body, some nice white foam on top. Flavour is good smooth grain. Mouthfeel is crisp and full. It's a decent lager, not interesting, but very drinkable.

355ml can. (4.5% ABV) Pours a hazy pale straw colour with a small, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Faint aroma of grainy malt, rice and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, rice and lemon with a clean, crisp, dry, mild spicy hop finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Glad sorghum wasn't used to make this gluten friendly, thus avoiding the unpleasant vegetal notes. Good for what it is.

Draft - Light sweet grains. Clear pale gold with a decent white head. Light touch of start hyperventilating grains and not much else. Light and starchy.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Pale blond color. It’s very dry, it’s clean, and it’s a bit crisp; don’t expect any malt or hop flavor, just a weak watery thing, not much better than some macro lager. So I don’t see why drinking it, and why brewing it. Terribly boring.

Very pale straw, thin head. Not much nose...stale hops and graininess. Thin body...really like a heavy-bodies macro swill, grainy with vague hop. "A great alternative to mainstream, big brewery lager" - I can’t believe in 2017 a craft brewer would think like this.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out the rice, along with straw and a little grass. Flavour is very clean, with straw and rice notes characterizing this. Clean and simple and easy to drink, but not much to speak of here.
