Nice light bourbon character with vanilla chocolate and oak. Semi dry nose. Medium carbonation with good bourbon character. Light roastiness and good chocolate. Would prefer low carbonation but very pleasant and well made for 6.7%

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Black colour, tan head. Lean, some chocolate, strong barrel here. Some oxidization feeling, but quite good.

Medium brown. Thin head. Fairly bourbony on the nose, with a fairly nutty component. Somewhat thin, light nuttiness, again a fairly prominent bourbon note. The treatment is fairly strong; would be better with a bigger body and more residual sugars - so imperial stout, basically.

473ml can. Pours a hazy dark brown with reddish hue and a medium, frothy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, bourbon, oak and a hint of smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, molasses, vanilla, oak and coffee with warming bourbon in a mildly dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice, has some complexity. Get some while it lasts.

Can - Sweet red wine barrel notes, red fruit and oak. Deep brown with a small white head. Molasses, sweet vinous notes and a nice finish. Well balanced and tasty.
