Bottle at ÖÖWF cons 2012-11-16 Örebro AR: heavy chocolate, coffey, glue, bourbon vanilla AP: dark black thick fluid, wee brownish head F: thick chocolate, chilli, coffee, more sweet then usually, wee grainy, hmm this was the first beer with chilli that was kind of good to me - ie were the chili was à part/blended in and not standing on it’s own!

Bottle shared on the GABF Friday brewery tour bus and another big bruising beer (this one is only 13%) on a day of non stop beery goodness at every turn!!! It poured up with a mahogany looking body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up earthy chocolate, some dark roasted coffee and then some sweet smelling over cooked chocolate brownie. The taste is rich and yum with deep dark roasted maltiness, oily dark roasted coffee and then a bit of chili pepper like notes. Nice rich brew.

A big brew here, shared by the guys on the epic brew bus! Pours a dark brown hue with a medium white head. A big coffee nose with some roast. The flavor is mostly sweet roasted coffee, pulls out a bit of sourness, some light vegtal pepper heat, a bit of a thin palate. Quite nice. Very woody or earthy.

750 ml bottle received in trade. Thank you Jeffrey! Pours black with a very small mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet with dark roast coffee, roasted malts, quality dark chocolate, chipotle peppers, dark bread, green chili and vanilla fudge. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and slightly spicy hot with roasted malts, sweet dark bread, quality dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, alcohol, smoked chili, mint, burnt caramel, toffee, wood and vanilla fudge. Mouthfeel is smooth, soft and near full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with sweetened dark roast coffee, smoked chili, resinous wood, vanilla fudge, dark bread, toffee and dark chocolate.
