750 ml corked and caged bottle. Deep honey gold color topped by a small firm creamy beige head. Sweet candi-like, fruity malt aroma. Sweet fruity malt flavor with spicy notes. Notes of melon, honey, white grapes and birthday cake. Warming alcohol in middle. Dryish, yeasty notes in finish. A bit too sweet for the Tripel style.

Better fix the description because I got this on tap at the bocktown. Clear pale with a neutral aroma. Big strong volatile initial taste impressions. Eventually evolves to t sweet dubble or trippel feel. Taste is a little more forward than the civilized old country trippels. Not bad for a domestic wannah bee.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a average white head. Aroma is citrusy bitter with a dry pils malt. Flavor is butterscotch, lemon juice and pear juice. Finish does have some alcohol heat with a bit of candied fruit. I don’t know what they were going for here or if this is just a bad bottle(the cork was almost impossible to get off) but this was far from a good triple. No real yeasty esters or flavorful hops.
