750mL bottle pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that has copper hues and supports an initially creamy metallic tan head that somehow dissipated into a loose head and then nothing in under a minute. The aroma offers up various Belgian yeasty spices as well as rich malt sweetened apple and plum and slightly over ripe nectarine. The taste begins smooth and sweet with loads of apple and apricot and peach honey coating fruity esters that meld at about midway into a pleasing nectar like quality. Then the yeasty spices and holiday fruit cake spice punch takes over only to head right into a bit of booziness. All in all this is working pretty well for me and I think another 10 to 12 months of age might see some further blending and melding of the flavors into something even more enjoyable than it is right now.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small with a small white head. Aroma is sweet caramelish and toasted. Dense malty and light spiced, caramelish and herbal. Bitter and dry spiced far finish.

Drunk to celebrate my rating number 26,000. Bottled. A dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of fruits, alcohol, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, malt, wood, alcohol, spices, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle shared by me at tasting at my house. Pours gold with off white head. Nose and taste of pineapple juice, orange candy, sweet malt, winter spices, sugar and bubblegum. Lots of pineapple juice. Medium body.

Pours hazy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of cinnamon and tropical fruits with some dough. Very sweet fruity flavor with some dough and cinnamon. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Draft. Poured a tad hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was a lot of sweetness, plenty of alcohol notes, hops. Flavor was heavy on the syrup candy notes, sugar, some light bitter citrus notes. Alcohol is present, but a lot more subtle for being 11.5%. I just bought a bottle of this so we’ll see how this one ages.

Diabetus?

Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a good sized beige head that slowly dissipates to a cap and minimal lace. Smells of light brown sugar, all spice, pepper, spicy yeast, and a faint hint of ginger. The flavor is sweet with sugary malt up front contrasted by a butt load of spices. Pepper, all spice, ginger along with the spicy yeasty flavors really make this a muddled mess. Tart and tangy finish with a bit of ethanol on the finish. Medium body with a sweet watery mouthfeel and a moderate level of carbonation. This is not a brew for me, It’s too heavy handed on the spice for my tastes. Maybe in 7 years it will meld a bit better.
