850ml bottle from the brewery at Ilya’s. Pours a hazy golden with huge white head. Aroma is Belgian yeasts, spices and maybe some pears. Taste is Belgian yeasts, noticeable barrel notes, spices. Very nice stuff.

Tasting at the 4th most powerful rater of 2016 place
Cloudy blond color with generous head. Too much carbonation, which translates in weird smell that includes vegetables; when that fades out, there is some oak barrel coming in. Way too much carbonation in the mouthfeel, nothing interesting regarding the flavor, no remarkable malt profile, instead there is a lot of vegetables, finally joined by spirit, oak barrel, pear, tequila; astringency in the final, and high alcohol content, band Aid.
Very chaotic, basically unpleasant.

Hazy tan. Big head. The aroma is dusty, and a bit of pedio. Taste is dry, with lots of yeast, a dry, herbal note. The yeastiness comes on a bit strong, but otherwise this has a subtle pear character, a touch of pale malt, and vague esters.

Bottle - Belgian yeasty fruit and pear notes. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Frothy and the pear brandy is a bit over the top. Not bad but not great. I don’t think the per is integrated enough at this point.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast upfront, followed by a touch of pears and wild yeast. Flavour is quite mild, with sweet brandy, pear skins and wild yeast. Highly carbonated, bringing out sweet, spritzy yeasty notes. Not hugely complex or deep, but I enjoy the high carbonation here. Very good.
