Howling Moon's Spiced Cherry is deeply delicious cider, made from a blend of Lapin and Bing cherry juice, aged with bourbon vanilla bean pods, cinnamon, clove and star anise with a dash of Malagasy Chocolate bitters. A seasonal delight to keep you warm through the cool winter months. Pairs well with baked ham and holiday treats like shortbread, ginger snaps and plum pudding.

Pours a reddish light copper, clear, and pretty good foam though it has no staying power. Smells of good fresh sweet cherry, plenty of spicy cinnamon and clove. Taste is more cherry tempered by some sharp apple, cinnamon everywhere. I'd prefer some more carbonation here, but also they may be thinking in terms of people mulling this. The ABV is invisible though. Still quite enjoyable, would work well in winter, not sure why it's their summer seasonal but 2021 is all sorts of odd.

Clear, pale yellow color. Dominating cinnamon, like mulled cider, over a thin and boozy cider with no depth.

500ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is very spicy with cinnamom, apples, and pear notes. Taste is similar. An ok.

Has a touch of pinkish note, On the nose, the cinnamon is huge, There's apples, hint of cinnamon, but there's also some diacetyl...it gets wonky.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with spices, smelling like a mulled cider (only cold), with baked apples and toffee further back. Flavour is along the same lines, with mulled cider notes, i.e. lots of spices, especially nutmeg and cinnamon, light toffee and dry baked apples. Nicely done, though it could be better if served hot.

Bottle - Cherry cola notes. Light pink and orange. Lots of spiced cherry pits and a long almost bitter finish. Not great cold, may be better mulled as suggested.
