Golden-amber, medium head. Looks nice. Aroma is a touch of brown sugar... on the palate a ton of alcohol, phenols, sticky and malts. A real shitshow - just has a lot of messy elements, nothing good in there, and nothing comes together in any way.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of bready malt, subdued caramel and floral English dry hopping. Flavour is very bitter, with the floral English dry hopping dominating this, leaving minor traces of sweet caramel malt underneath. Very abrasive in hoppy bitterness with little depth. Not refined at all, nor even fun in its erraticness.

Draft - Slight higher alcohols with some vomit. Clear copper. Lots of woody cedar notes and a long finish.

Cask at Callister, Vancouver
Light amber color, just hazy, with sprinkler head. Aroma of sweat, old socks, hop bag, and delicate fruitiness; quite true English BW aroma. Good body strength, yet the mouthfeel is not too thick; moderate malt depth, some nuts, evident (British?) yeast character, and a fundamental earthy character; mild alcohol warmth in the final.
Quite good.
