Poured from 330mL (bb 08/04/2017 - thanks Fiulijn). Clear, pale yellow with small white head. Smoke with a mild underlying sour malt and a hint of spruce.

Bottle - Smoked and cured meat with mustard. Clearish gold with a small white head. Smoked and a odd wheat note. Very odd.

Pale, has some thin head. The aroma is a bit smoky, has some sort of odd note, though. On the palate, has a bit more of that smokiness. Has not much malt, well, not enough to hold up the smokiness. A touch of fruitiness from the spruce.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy blond color, no head. Aroma of yogurt and delicate smoke, so weird. Weak body, dry mouthfeel; some cheesy yeast, and some smoke; mild astringency in the final.
Weird, but interesting, I could drink a glass or two of this with some food.

330mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very earthy and smoky, with lots of earthy twig notes and smoked malt. Flavour is bizarre, with lots of strange earthy notes, light smoked malt, and more weird earthiness. Bizarre as hell. Not bad, but nothing intriguing.

330ml bottle from craft beer advent calendar. Pours a hazy pale gold with a small, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Very pleasant smoke aroma (like smoked ham) with oak and a hint of spruce. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, smoke, oak and spruce with herbal hops in a mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing with subtle smokiness. Nicely done.
