Bright golden with a thin head. Really looks nice. Lightly toasty on the nose. Flabby pale malt taste, with vaguely herbal hop. Not all that bright, though none of the cashmere beers I’ve had this year were. Low bitterness...like this is sweet for a golden ale much less a pale. I see the 40 IBU but that’s just math; the apparent bitterness is very low on this one.

Draught at the brewery
I’m impressed by the first clean looking beer at Faculty; golden color, small head. The malt has a mild bready character, wet soaked bread, sweetish, also because the bitterness is almost absent. If this was a showcase for the hop, it didn’t work.
Clean, useless beer, boring.

On tap at Faculty, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted biscuity malt and very restrained hoppy bitterness without much character. Flavour is dull, with toasted biscuity malt and subdued hops. Honestly, what would inspire such a dull beer? It's clean enough and drinkable, but so painfully boring. Another useless beer from theee guys.
