(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2015) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, citrus and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, candy sugar, white bread and a gentle grassy bitterness in a fairly sweet finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty tripel, but the bitterness doesn’t really match the sweetness. Quite nice.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden with small white head. Lots of spices (cloves, coriander), light malts, very herbal and some raw green vegetables. Light toffee sweetness with medium bitter finish. Unbalanced and a bit too spicy.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Hazy golden with a thin white head. Fruity sweet tripel aroma and taste with some alcohol warmth. Bit rough, unbalanced tripel.

Nice lively and fruity tripel, with some nice hop bitterness. Above average tripel.

gouden/geel met minimale witte kraag. ongefilterd. aroma van bloemen, mouten, koriander en citrus. smaken zijn matig tot redelijk zoet, redelijk bitter, matig sterk, redelijk moutig, redelijk kruidig, sinaasappel/mandarijn fruitigheid, pilsmout, gistig, duidelijk te proeven licht scherp mondgevoel á la peper. medium body, glad van textuur, normale co2, afdronk kruidig, zoet en een beetje droog. had een tikkeltje minder bitter gemogen maar al met al een lekkere frisse tripel welke prima te drinken is.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Cafe Thembi, Maastricht, 20130603) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, fruitiness and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, honey, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A different but good tripel.

Tap at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a clear amber with a broken white head. The aroma is weak yeast leading to a strong bitter weak liqourice flavour. There is some orange in the palate and the finish. Better draft than from the bottle.

Draft at De Paas. Pours hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of fruit, spice, yeast, orange. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a touch of acidity. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
