Dark brown. Very coffeeish nose. Lots of milk choc...not getting coconut really but sweet stouty goodness. This is one that will get better over the course of a pint.

On tap at Callister, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of lactose, espresso and cocoa, with light roast. Flavour is equal mixes of the aforementioned notes, along with a heap of coconut which ends up characterizing this. Finishes somewhat sweet, with a hint of coffee but mostly coconut. Very good.

Draft - Rich dark semi-sweet Chcolate. Jet murky brown with no head. Big roasty dark toasted choclate notes, some coconut and a nice bitterness to balance.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Dark brown color, near black, poured with almost no head. Aroma of chocolate bar, and light tobacco. Good body strength; it has a good depth of flavors, the malt is there, the lactose seems to enhance the chocolate character, and there is a pleasant feeling of roasted coconut. Quite strong bitterness with prominent hop resins.
Good.
