Light lavender on the nose, but earthy bitter hops as well. Palate is similar, not overpowering at all on the lavender, nice chewy malts. Solid brew.

Draft - Sweet lavender and caramel. Clear copper with a decent white head. Lavender, sweet caramel and light bitterness. Not bad for what it is.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma is very pleasant with mead and flower notes. Taste is veeeery bready with not pleasant flowery bitterness. Same notes aftertaste. Strange beer, unusual and not very enjoyable.

Draught at The Cascade Room, Vancouver
Amber color, clean. Bread malts, soft mouthfeel, light residual sweetness, some British yeast character, bit not like a Bitter. I wouldn’t think of lavender if I didn’t know it, which is good.
Clean, nice English Pale Ale.

On tap at The Cascade Room, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out light floral notes from the lavender, though it is subdued, with English bready malt. Flavour is pretty shy on the lavender, though it does come through, with English bready malt underpinning this. Clean and well-balanced, but unexciting. Decent.
