Pretty dark, chestnut, thin head. Light cocoa and a touch of roast on the nose. Similar palate, sort of a thin cocoa character...I would definitely prefer more residual sweetness. Lighter, drier finish, again mainly with a cocoa taste. There’s better stouts but it’s ok.

Draft - Touch of coco and roast. Deep dark brown with a decent small brown head. Raw honey like sweetness and some roast. No real Cocoa apparent. Tastes much like a regular export stout.

Draught at the brewery
Black color, small head. Mild flavor and aroma of roasted malts, a bit ashy; super dry. Weak.
Nothing bad, but kind of useless.

On tap at Red Truck, pours a deep shaken down with a slight amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dry cocoa, along with a pronounced coffee quality to it. Flavour is very dry, with lightly bitter cocoa nibs characterizing this one. Very one-dimensional and thin. It's fine but super boring, as usual from Red Truck.
