Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours slightly coppery gold with a foamy white head. Mixed citrus/stone/tropical fruits with a detectable caramel background. Med body or so. Flavor doesn't really stand up to the aroma. Hoppy enough for a burn but they seem muddled to me. Still, it's beer, it's pretty hoppy, fairly dry and pretty bitter. Good enough.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy golden color, small head. The aroma is a bit grainy, but the citrusy hops also show up. Lean, agile mouthfeel; some flavor of toffee and grains; good hopping level, piney resins, sweet orange peel, and a mild alcohol perception.
Tastes old, but it’s still enjoyable.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a very floral type of hops and lots of oranges. Flavour brings out lots of orange fruits upfront, followed by subdued floral hops, and earthy notes. Too orangey and lacking any complexity. Not at all a good example of a double IPA.

Apparently it’s an emerald square these days. That’s cool though. Nothing look a small dose of confusion to pair with my beer. Like this is the first time that has happened. Draft pour at Hop and Hound. A bright golden color with a swirling head. An inviting piney hop aroma, with an accurate prediction to flavor. Hop heavy but a strong and very noticeable malt bill to complete. Well put together. A nice, refreshing imperial with a heated bitterness that checks in very late. Doesn’t quite major in standing out, but all is well here.
