Black color with creamy beige head. Served cold it’s a nice drink, off-dry but smooth, nice dark chocolate flavor, roasted nuts, and a hint of bourbon.

Cask - Bourbon and light oak notes. Jet black with a nice light brown head. Lots of bourbon, woody oak and some bitterness. A bit thin, but bourbon doesn’t overwhelm. Not bad.

On cask at Yaletown, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out light notes of vanilla and oak, atop cocoa notes. Flavour is quite restrained, with bourbon oak chips upfront. They dominate the flavour profile without being too abrasive. Simple but pleasant enough. Decent.

On tap at Irish Caskival at YBC. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is slightly sour with winey notes, vanilla, roasted malt, slightly smoky. Taste is a little bit sour with winey notes, roasted malt. Quite poor, non-intense taste. Meh.
