On Tap at the original Bellingham taproom Clear dark brown with a rich creamy nitro light tan head. Subtle dry roast aroma, and classic roasted flavors. Late there is a definite ashtray soot flavor. Light dry and thin. nailed the style I think.

On tap at Kulshan, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a large tan head. Aroma is extremely dry, with notes of wheat, dry bitter cocoa, and bitter roast. Flavour is extremely dry also, with loads of dry roast, wheat, and slightly astringency metallic notes. Pretty light and drinkable, though a tad metallic to be that enjoyable.

Draught at the taproom
Black color with beige creamy head. Light aroma of roasted malt. The mouthfeel is too dry, quite weak; some roasted malt, some coffee, moderate to low bitterness; the final tends to be a bit watery.
Too simple, not the best one on tap today.
