Clear orange body and no noticeable head. Soft peach on the nose. Flavour is oily grapefruit and a bit of a wet and oily finish. In the IPA world this is simply substandard.

Poured from 650mL bottle (labelled 7.4% ABV; 55 IBU). Mostly clear golden yellow with white head, just a slight hint of haze. Aroma has lots of grapefruit hops on the pour and tropical hops in the glass with a mild vegetable note. Taste of mild tropical hops, slight veg, chewy bread malt, and mild pine finish. Still needs some work.

July 2017: 7.4%, 55 IBU. Totally different specs than before. Golden with just a bit of chill haze Bright hops are a touch floral, grapefruity and maybe a bit tropical. Bitter, grapefruity, some sweetness from the malt, maybe verging on chewiness. This is by no means a world-beater, but represents a substantial upgrade on the buttery first brew. Whether than is recipe + execution or just execution I’m not sure. BR>
Original December 2016 rating: 6.5%, 75 IBU. Golden, bright. Thin head. Not pulling much aroma but that’s probably good because it tastes like diacetyl. Some biscuity pale malts, not much hop. But you don’t win friends with butter. 4-4-3-2-6 = 1.9

Draught at the brewery
Murky dark blond color, underattenuated, green, yeasty, stale bread, no other good malt quality, the hop is a bit resiny, decent; astringent final.
Unfinished, and dirty. Very bad.
On a second thought, I wonder if they gave me the White IPA instead…

Draft - Pithy hops with some citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Pithy hops and some earthy notes. Meh.

On tap at Faculty, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a pretty mild piney hoppiness, with toasted biscuity malt underneath. Flavour is bizarre, with a strange earthy and herbal hoppiness, some vegetal notes, and toasted crackery notes. Something definitely wrong here, as the vegetal notes become rather overwhelming on the finish. Not good.
