Bright cloudy yellow body with just a bit of foamy head. Faint lemon grain aroma. Flavour is indeed sour and weisse, hitting all the boxes, but lacks excitement and a bit of je ne sais quoi. It needs a little more something interesting to make it interesting.

Draft pour at Faculty. First visit! Weird. A Vancouver beer with 4 ratings... cloudy golden yellow pour. Tart peach, orange slices, and some grains on the aroma. Big sour front to this. Straw grains, apricot and orange slices, both very sour. Lingering acidic, tart constant. Not bad.

Cask, dry hopped with Cashmere. Hazy, quite pale and dull. Expressive papaya, mandarin nose from the cashmere hops. Flat. Tart, lots of fruitiness, light bitterness. Pretty refreshing - give this some carbo and you’ve got a beer.

Draft - Light soured grains. Cloudy yellow gold with a dent white head. Soured malts and some citrus. Decent.

On tap at Faculty, poursa cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tart citrus and lacto notes. Flavour is simple, with tart citrus, some lacto and dry biscuity notes. One-dimensional but pleasant and clean. Uninspiring but tasty enough.

Draught at the brewery
Pale yellow, murky. The aroma is a bit lemony and puckery. Loads of lactic acid dominate the flavor, some wheat bread, hints of lemon.
Refreshing, simplistic but not bad.
