75 cl bottle @ Tampella
Aroma is fulfilled with raspberries – like sticking your nose into raspberry bush. Also some juicy tones and perhaps a hint of roastiness. Flavour is rather tart with raspberry juice and some roastiness. Aroma was nice but the tartness does not fit the flavour bouquet.

750ml bottle from De Molen Beershop

Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma of raspberries, roasted malts, hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is tartish, fruity and slightly roasty with loads of raspberries and hints of coffee. Finish is roasty, tartish and fruity with hints of coffee and berries. Quite untypical, dark and roasty fruit beer.

Tap at De Molen, Bodegraven. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and acid citrus. The flavour is medium sour. Medium to heavy bodied with, soft carbonation and a slightly oily consistency. Really liked this. Super refreshing.

On tap at De Molen. Pours a musty dark brown with a deep ruby hue and a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of rich semi tart raspberry with a bit of dark grains and a hint of chocolate. Flavor has raspberry up front that mellows as sweet dark grains come through with a hint of chocolate.

Dark brown colour with a red hue. Some light cocoa and raspberry. Only lightly tart/sharp which makes it very palatable. Quite thin tasting. Raspberry comes through strongest in the aftertaste.

Sampled draft @ Eet & Bierlokaal De Molen during RBESG 2013. the Oersoep glasses are really beautiful. Pours dark brown with a creamy tanned head. Nose is light roast, sweet mocha, pie, lots of raspberry, very beautifully fruity. Taste is incredible raspberries, full like the real fruits with a great perfect sourness, chocolate pie, mocha, creamy chocolate, berries, creamy,… Very easy to drink. Man this is so good. Seems like these guys went from good to great. Too bad that all of their stuff if far too expensive unless if you manage to get hold of them at the few right places in Holland. I do hear that things might be changing in the future.
