This barrel aged version of the Oort Imperial Stout slumbered for fifteen months in 12-year-old bourbon barrels, imparting flavors of bitter chocolate, vanilla, and oak. It drinks especially chocolatey, with some heat from the barrel.

Bomber. Batch One. Pours a nearly jet black color with a creamy medium brown head. A big sweet boozy whiskey and dark fruit nose. Big sweet dark fruit, cherries, ash, chocolate, huge bourbon. Dry ashy chocolate finish. Wow! Awesome beer. Lovely. Super flavorful. Huge bourbon.
