Dark brown. Thin head. Nice chocolatey nose, bit fudgey. Medium body, just enough carbo. The hop lends a leafy accent, and moderate bitterness. Enjoyable, that hop is just enough nuance.

Draft - Sweet dark roast. Jet brown with a small light brown k roast and some sweetness. No real hops here.

On tap at Faculty, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is very earthy, with herbaceous and fungal notes from the hops, and an earthy malt character. Flavour is very much the same, with earthy malt, some roast, herbal hops and a fungal quality. Hard to know what they were going for here but it's not too impressive. Lacking cohesion and just not overly pleasant.

Draught at the brewery
Black color, brown head. Very roasty without being ashy or burnt, with a touch of black chocolate, not too weak; but it also has a hint of liquorice, bread dough (mostly the aroma), so it has too much yeast; resiny final. And obviously this is not the beer that speaks about the hops.
Wrong concept. But it’s not bad.
