On tap at St. Augustine’s. Pours a clear red-ish with a tan head. Aroma is tropical fruits hops, caramel notes, spices, some fruity notes. Same character hoppy bitterness taste and aftertaste. A good beer, just surprised by other people very low ratings.

Reddish-brown with a thin head and the aroma is kind of funky. The aroma is indistinct spiciness. The taste is bitter, but without any particular flavour. I mean, there’s spice, some sort of toasty malt. But I have no idea what’s going on. There’s alcohol in the finish. None of this is cohesive, none of it is attractive. This brewery needs to stick to the hoppy stuff they are good at, and stop messing around with silly wtf beers like this. I’d rather have a pumpkin ale.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of caramel, oranges, and some strange herbal vegetal notes. Flavour is fairly spicy, with earthy, spicy hops, some dry pumpkin spice, and herbal notes. Not sure what the hell they were going for here. Spicy, dry, vegetal finish. Not good.

Dark amber color, clean. Mild aroma of roasted nuts and spices. Good body strength, on the dry side, also because of the ashy character of the dark malts, and the spice presence (cardamom? nutmeg?) just makes things worse. Chicory and ashes in the final.
The beer we don’t need, and one that I don’t have pleasure drinking.
