A little pepper, some florals. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Pretty good balance. Saison is more go-to than my favourite mortal kombat character. Bottle thanks to GenDV138.

22oz bottle at the April Fools Day DC Ratebeer tasting. Brought by GenDV138, thanks Donnie! Poured a semi-hazy straw color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was sweet hoppy notes. Malts. Floral notes. Light sweet finish. Easy to drink.

Bombet. Dim gold color. Head retention is strong. Clear, visible carbonation bubbles. Thick and sweet beer, what else to expect from Imperial Saison. Apple skins and light rotten fruits. Flavor is less apply and fruity but plenty of sweet Belgian biscuit, too sweet. Not sugary but too much Belgian sweet esters. Finishes better than majority of flavor. I had low expectations but got this bottle on discount.

Sample at the "Goodwill Birthday Party" on 11/12/2016. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Herbal yeast, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, fruit and earthy malt. The finish is fruity with a Belgian yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

22 oz bottle shared with friends. Mostly clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, spice, citrus fruit and peel, subtle funk. Tastes of apples, herbs, spice, citrus, light funk, some booze. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid, just a touch too boozy.

tons of cracked wheat pepper terrified wheat and lemon. A touch on the cloying side, and not that authentic, but still pretty enjoyable.

Super clean golden with a white head. Light earthy and zesty hop notes under loads of sweet sugary malt. Medium slick body. Herbal finish and mildly dry. It’s nice but if the floral and herbal notes were kicked up a notch it would so much better.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly fruit, but there’s some underlying phenolic. Med body or so. Upfront is fruit and light earth, but as that clears rather strong phenolic flavor and tongue sting rolls in. Interesting the way the flavor aspects come and go. There’s an underlying sweetness, might be attached to the fruit aspect, but the phenol part makes this seem dry to me. It’s getting fruitier and earthier with time - maybe my taster is phenol fatigued. It’s not a great beer, but it’s certainly different. I think I’m starting to like it.
