The label highlights original artwork from Jennah Turpin, winner of the beer clubs first design contest. Her sketch of "Herman" was submitted in memory of Sarah Turpin who tragically passed away in October 2014. Bottle - Vintage 2014 - Deep chocolate notes, very nice. Deep dark brown with a nice brown head. Lots of cocoa and thin on the pallet, but pretty nice.

Bottle: Poured a dark black color stout with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice sweet black chocolate notes with light dry bitter roasted malt also noticeable. Taste is also a nice mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some dry bitter roasted malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Nice chocolate stout though a fuller and creamier body would have been even better.
