Okay medium copper body and antique white foam. Very soft floral hops on the nose. Flavour is good chewy rye grain with chunky aweet hops backing it up. Medium finish, good dryness on the mouth. A decent drinkable IPA though still on the sugary side as per everything from this brewer.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy amber color. Hazy amber color. Spicy earthy character from the rye, good body strength, orangey hops. Solid, too earthy for me.

Quite dark amber, with a bit of haze. There isn’t a whole lot of head on this one. The aroma has some tropical and berryish hops, a fair bit of rye but overall really does come across as chewy. On the palate, it is fairly sweet, with a mellow rye character. There is a hit of earthy hops, again with a bit of a berryish note. Touch of alcohol in the back, again with chewy notes.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber mahogany with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some grapefruit and bready malt. Flavour brings out lots of earthy hops and spiciness from the rye, followed by grapefruit, and bready malt. Spicy, earthy finish. Nicely balanced and easy enough to drink.

Cask - Light spiced rye grain. Cloudy Amber with a small beige head. Caramel and light rye spice with a nice bitter finish. Missing something.
