Smells of weedy hops and soft caramel, has okay clear medium copper body and little foam. Flavour is nice hops, some smooth malt. Mouthfeel has good oiliness, very full. A nice pale ale.

Citrus and some malt. Fairly generic. Pours golden with ok head and great lacing. Light bitter end. Tap at brewery.

Pale amber. A bit of chill haze, and thin head. Sweet, caramel aroma. It's drier on the palate. Moderate bitterness but this comes across a little clashy with the caramel. These hops need a beer that's less chewy. APA with an Australian kick - it is that, but that's not necessarily the best way to put these ingredients together. But it's one of their best sellers so there's that. For me, though, not the optimal sense of balance.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy copper to light amber color. Simple aroma. Dry mouthfeel, the malts have a straw and biscuit touch, enough bitterness, limited hop qualities; initially the bitterness appeared to be a bit pithy, then it adjusted.
Not bad.

On tap at Bad Tattoo, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fairly prominent piney and resinous hops for a pale, with a dry biscuity malt component. Flavour is quite punchy for a pale, with piney hops upfront and backed by a decent biscuity malt base. Standard stuff, but it's made well. Decent.
