Bottle - Vintage 2015 - Big Woody whisky notes and dark fruit. Deep brown and a decent beige head. Nice dark sweet barrel notes, raisin and a long sweetness. Nicely done.

Growler from Ale Yeah!, from the Burnt Hickory tasting. Pours dark, mahogany with a substantial, frothy, beige head. The aroma is figs and dark cherries up front, with some notes of red wine. Lots of caramel, vanilla, and oak in the finish. The flavor is sticky and sweet, with lots of alcohol, wood and earthy notes. Very heavy body, sticky, and very warming, like a good desert wine. The warm, fruitiness up front and the smooth, candy and whiskey notes in the finish work well together to make an excellent, immense beer.
