Draft pour, 13 oz, enjoyed in a tulip at Hop and Hound. A beautiful color, glowing rose orange. Almost no head, but it's not missed. Aroma is filled with dark fruit, farmhouse yeast, a touch of funk, soft and inviting grains. Flavor matches pretty closely. A slightly dry, farmhouse yeast finishes a bold dark fruit with a touch of spice to it. Not a brew that drinks super fast, but it's fun to savor. Its unique and tasty. Enjoyed this one.

This is a more basic amber ale, maybe with some added ester complexity. Earthy, and a good example of the style, if being in a fairly uninteresting style.

Bottle - Peppery sweet malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Very effervescent and floral peppery notes.

Bottle at Drayton Harbor Oyster Company, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse yeast upfront, some earthiness, and some herbal notes of some sort. Flavour is quite complex and true to style, with lovely rustic farmhouse yeast, some slight earthiness, a lovely spiciness and a bready, yeasty finish. Unusual to find an authentic saison like this up this way. Really nicely done.
