Draft - Lots of dark Chcolate and some light toasted Coconut. Deep Amber brown with a rich light brown head. Sweet dark chocolate syrup with some sweet candy count and a light bitter finish. To syrupy.

650ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a large, frothy, long lasting, light brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of coconut. Sweet flavour of chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and a hint of coconut with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Certainly, the first thing I do when I hit Calgary is look for Hawaiian coconut flavoured beverages! Well, why not? Pours black-brown with okay head with some creaminess to it. Aroma of barley swampwater with vague roasted hints, that may be the cocount moderating all the sharpness or maybe it’s just badly brewed, cain’t tell to be hernest. Flavour is a decent blend between chocolatey barley notes and coconut, not cloying, rather refreshing in fact and not a bad combination. And this is coming from a hater of coconut flavoured brews - so why did I procure this one? No idea, somehow it ended up in the box. It happens sometimes.

Dark color. Medium dry Porter, some caramel and roasted malt, no coconut (luckily). Simple but not bad.
