This classic German hefeweizen is made with 50% wheat and traditional German hops. The clove flavours balance the banana-y aromatics from the yeast. If you like German efficiency, this hefeweizen is for you!

Cloudy and pale. Banana and pear nose. Wheaty, quite sweet. Ok hefe, yeast is restrained. Not overly complex.

On tap at Trading Post, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light spiciness from the clove, along with dry wheat and almost a hoppy bitterness. Flavour is dry and much less banana than on typical hefs, with clove and pillowy dry wheat, with almost a hoppy astringency. Solid stuff.

Draft - Soft wheat and a touch of banana. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Wheat and citrus with a nice bitterness. Bitterness balances the sweetness nicely.
