Bottle. Pours orange gold with a white smear for head. Light fruit aroma - suggests peach. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is peachlike fruit with yeast/spice and probably a fair amount of hop - cause it is bitter after the fruit passes. Different and very good.

Hazy orange colorf, tiny white head. Orange, yeast, coriander in the nose. Coriander-like spiceyness, alcohol, peach. Quite sticky-bitter with fruity notes. Probably mellows after ageing.

Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Slightly hazy yellow golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, some caramel, mild strange earthy-wooden-toffeishlike mix. Flavour is quite much the same. Big time caramel fruity mix. Some alcoholic sweetness, but not too disturbing.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, apricot, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light peppery - alcoholic finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091211]

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear deep golden orange colour, white head, sediment in the bottle. Aroma of phenol, alcohol, fruity. Flavour is alcoholic at first, but mellow in the mouth, with malts, fruits, some candy sweetness, alcohol bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. One for sipping.

Medium white head over hazy orange beer. White candi sugar, citrus, alcohol. Sweet to neutral, faintly spicy, citrus hints. Medium bodied, and quite slick, bit underattenuated. Very nice, as expected from Scheldebrouwerij. Might be a bit better attenuated, however. Yeast overwhelmed?

Bottle at ’In De Wildemaan’, Amsterdam, 28-10-09 Pours hazy amber/ orangey with a white bubbly head. There is a perfumey hoppy nose, bit perfumey in the mouth, the alcohol is deceptive but just about noticeable. Touch clinical maybe and a bit soapy at times, and as fine as it is, its not really my thing. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

(33cl bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a big and persistent beaten egg-white foamy head. Moderately sweet cara-malty, slightly yeasty and fresh herbal hoppy aroma with notes of pineapples, citrus and biscuits. Sweet and slightly sourish fruity flavour, full bodied with a mild carbonation. Slightly sugary (cara-)malty taste with quite a lot of fruity and even a bit of vinous accents, especially towards the finish, accompanied by spicy herbal hops and a light alcoholic burn. Pleasantly hoppy Tripel-like strong Ale, or as the label states “Kempense Quattro” (13.VIII.09).
