A fruity blond beer with an explosion of citrus, resulting from dry-hopping with the American hops breed Cascade. In order to maintain the hoppy aroma as much as possible, the beer isn’t filtered. It is slightly cloudy and has a snow white head. It is served in a robust, accompanying glass. The beer was created in honour of Ter Dolen’s co-founder Armand Desplenter, the father of current director Mieke Desplenter.

Bottled 330ml (AIH128)
Golden, slightly hazy colour, medium-sized white head and some lace. Fruity Belgian yeast in the nose. Light-bodied, thin for its ABV. Light fruityness, citrusy American hops. Okish, simple.

Fles 33cl thuis. Fruitig, citrus, droog, licht bloemig, redelijk koolzuur, wat yeasty, maltig, redelijk bitter. (19-11-2020).

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine persistente, color giallo smorto velato, al naso intenso lieviti belgi marmellata di pesche frutta matura esteri, in bocca non è all’altezza dell’aroma malto spezie frutta candita, lieve astringente, carbonazione moderata, olily, corpo leggero, alcool ben bilanciato, dolce con amaro moderato, asciutta nel finale. L’avrei preferita un po' più carbonata. Belga. Comunque buona. c. Bottega della birra Arona 28.03.20

Bottle. Hazy gold with a thick cream head. Aroma of vague citrus, dough and spices. Sweet and yeasty with oranges and grapefruit before a fairly bitter but well off dry end. Not bad, a bit muddled.

fajne ze spora pianka, sniezno biala, trwala, metne zlote piwo. Pachnie nadwyczaj wyraznie gruszka i chmielem. W smaku delikatna slodycz miesza sie z owocowoscia gruszki i bialych porzeczek wyczuwalna swieza chmielnosc, to zadkie w mocnych piwach belgijskich

Cloudy golden. Decent white head. Aroma: Belgian fruity goodness, malts, fine spiciness. Medium body. Soft to average carbonation. Taste: medium dry, malty, nutty, fruity, spicy. Dry ending. Light plus bitterness. Good thing.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat grassige geur. De smaak is moutig en licht citrusachtig.

Flaska från belgiuminabox. Gyllengul aningen disig med högt vitt skum. Likanar en lättare trippel som humlats en hel del. Söta maltiga smaker av bröd och stenfrukt möter en höig och örtkryddigbeska som också har lite besk citruszest. Belgoestrar ger också karaktär i en dryck som kanske inte sticker ut men som är välbalanserad och välbrygd. Gott.
