Dark brown, low bubbly head. Light pamplemousse, light choc. Has medium bitterness, rich debittered black malt, more toronja. Wonderful balance between the malt and hop elements here.

On tap at the brewery in Bellingham-USA. Black pour with brown highlights and little tan lacing. Nose: garlic, more garlic, fresh hops less roast. Some chicory too. Mouth: bit more roast the the nose, bitter overall, quite tasty far from being terrific. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at April Brews Day, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is very earthy in the hop department, with piney hops and earthy roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy hops and lots of roasted malt. Very nicely balanced, with not too much roast or hops. Very good.

Draft - Sweet herbal hops and chocolate notes. Jet brown with a decent brown head. Bitter pine hops and bitter roast with a long peel finish.
