Brewed with BC pils malt made by German maltster Matthias Haaben and noble German hop varieties Hersbrucker and Tettnang. We ferment this beer long and slow with a proper lager yeast strain, and then give it a month of cold storage (lagering) to further refine the flavour. Done right, you can taste the difference.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. The aroma shows some crisp malt and grassy hops, delicate but nice. Crisp malt flavor, but too light, even fading towards the final, and the hop doesn’t have much quality.
But overall it’s a pleasant Pilsner.

On tap at Lighthouse, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of corn and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of grassiness, corn, straw, that kind of thing. Clean, flavourful and well-made for the style, though tastes more like a corn lager than anything. Solid for what it is.

Bottle - Nice grains with minimal sweetness. Clear gold with with a small white head. Nice grains with a light dry finish. Solid.
