Homesteader is an exciting and refreshing celebration of brewing tradition. The Belgian yeast strain is responsible for the flavours and aromas of banana, apricot, clove, spice, and bubble gum...that's right, bubble gum! This delicious and classic style proves that no matter what we say, the hardest worker in our brewery is the yeast.

Can: Poured a pale golden color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of residual sugar notes with light dry ester is OK. Taste is a mix of residual sugar notes with some dry ester and some light rustic malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Lacking some attenuation and complexity but still enjoyable.

Medium dark hazy golden color. Overall has ginger, cracked wheat and black pepper but feels a step off an authentic saison very much like many New world takes on the style. At first I didn’t groove too much but I liked the high carbonation and flavours are pronounced which the longer I drank the more I appreciated. Well made but just not what I expect

355ml can. Pours a clear golden with a small, fluffy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of citrus fruit, yeast, wheat malt and coriander. Sweet flavour of orange, lemon, yeast, wheat and coriander with a dry finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Okay wheat notes aroma and okay head. Nice wheat flavour but lacking the farmhouse sourness that you would expect from a saison. Okay medium mouthful.
