Our India Golden Ale aged for six months in Old Tom Gin barrels from Ransom Spirits before being blended with some fresh hoppy beer and dry hopped for renewed intensity in the aroma.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: pale orange semi-hazy but also with light transparency toned with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated at a fair pace which left some light lace
Aroma: the hops seemed a bit hard to find but the gin botanical parts were fairly strong (juniper/piney/berry medley), light clean malts
Flavor: gin sweet up front, slight clean malts make a decent effort to blend into the sweetness and with a little bit more sips it eventually does; finishes somewhat like liquefied juniper with bready malts
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; some smoothness but also some boozy effects pummeling the tongue
Overall: there's a lot going on with this and I believe I liked what came across.

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. Cloudy pale amber color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of gin, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal gin, fruity hops and malt. The finish is hoppy with a gin aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours a dark amber from a bottle. Bit of a pine sol aroma, very ginny. Similar flavor, herbal and floral but ends bitter. Good beer.

Draft pour at Toronado, for the Breakside event. Such fun beers! Pours a cloudy golden orange with a thin patchy head. Huge, cool gin aroma. Flavor is an icy gin up front, with everything else hiding in the background. Subtle hop.character, but left difficult to decifer. Surprisingly doesnt taste too strong. Solid and prime uniqueness. Extremely fun beer to try, and very well executed.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium white head. A big fruity perfume pineapples and lemon. The flavor is pretty much like the nose: rich tropical flavor, gin, pineapple, smooth sweet brew. This works well and is delicious.

Slight haze, light amber. Nice aroma of juniper, pine, lots of hops. Rich juniper, hops, lots of bitterness, these flavours really go well together. Loved this one.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. The aroma is fruity and flowery, pungent. The flavor mixes a sourish ipa with fruits and with booze, and they don’t come along together very well. Resiny hops in the final, and quite some booze.
Not a bad beer, but very chaotic.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of juniper / gin upfront, which steals the show, followed by subdued citrus hops. Flavour is a wonderful balance of intense gin barrels and citrus hops. The hops are not muted from the barrel aging and the gin isn't too abrasive. Wonderful stuff.

Draft - Lemon drop and more lemon. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lemon dish detergent and a sweet boozy note. Not a fan.
