This traditional English best bitter is made in the style of modern British ales. Crafted with Marris Otter malt from the United Kingdom, this easy drinking beer has a light bitterness with a touch of caramel. It is a nod to English pubs and a wink to barmaids.

Draught @ Red Racer. Golden amber, med head. Earthy bitterness, light toastiness. Balanced, drinks bigger than it is.

Draft - Light grains and caramel. Clear copper with a decent white head. Light sweet caramel and some twig. Not bad.

Draught at Red Racer Restaurant, Vancouver
Hazy amber color. A bit of caramel, the flavor is better than the aroma, and the bitterness level is ok; clean brew; this makes a decent Amber Ale, it has no bitter character.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry bready malt and gentle British hops. Flavour is very true to style, with gentle British hops balanced with a dry bready malt backbone. Subtle yet very drinkable and authentic. Very nice for what it is.
