Mead - Maple Wine ✅️

I'm anti maple but everyone else loved it

Dry grass/hay, maple, and honey aroma. Medium brown. Very sweet maple, honey, and mildly bitter herbal dry hay flavor. Good body. Mild alcohol finish.

Refrigerated 75 cL bottle corked and waxed poured into a glass. Clear amber. Aroma is maple syrup, medium body, and syrupy texture. Taste is maple syrup and slightly herbal honey.

750ml bottle (thx, Alex). Pours a dirty brown with no head. Aroma is fruity and woody, some boozy notes. Taste is sweet, woody with some maple syrup notes. Pleasant.

Dark amber color. Of the three Hidden Legend meads tonight, this is the better one, more balanced, slightly sweeter, with a mild maple touch, and a feeling of Italian amaro.

Medium brown, rich and sweet. Has light maple, light honey, good balance. Has a light mapley character with a sweeter finish.

Bottle - Nice sweet dark honey. Clearish Amber. Nice sweet honey, touch is spice and a light body finish. Decent.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber orangey brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out burnt caramel and medium sweet honey. Flavour is along the same lines, with light maple, burnt caramel and tangy acidic notes on the finish. Quite a thin palate like all their offerings. Pleasant flavour, but a little weak and lacking oomph. Solid.
