Dark brown. Thick head. Light choc nose, fudgey. Sweetish fudgey front, some rich chocolate but balanced with a subtle bitterness.

On tap at the brewery in Bellingham-USA. Black color, tan foam with some decent retention. Nose: rich espresso coffee, roast malt, mocha. Mouth: fantastic grassy bitterness, real bitter and in style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Dark roast notes with some grains. Jet lack with frothy beige head. Sweet, molasses, thin dark roast. Sweet and thin like a Shwartzbier but missing on porter and that account.
