Deze geuze wordt afgevuld op flessen van 37,5 en 75 cl en heeft een alcoholgehalte van 6,0 %.
Voor de Oude Geuze worden jonge lambik, met minimum een jaar rijping, en oude lambik, met minimum twee jaar rijping, gemengd volgens de smaak van de geuzesteker. Eenmaal op fles volgt de laatste rijpingsfase. Resultaat is een bier van spontane gisting met een typische smaak en mooie schuimkraag.
Deze geuze wordt ook nog omschreven als vrij droog, bitter en relatief minder zuren.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2020 vintage; courtesy of Karel at De Cam). Hazy gold with huge white head that dissipates. Very nice funk, calm, enjoyable.

750ml shared with Ryan, Phill, Nick, and Karel, De Cam brewer/owner. Vintage 2020 (2021 was sold out, 2022 was not ready (i.e. not liked by Karelcyet) yet for the release). Appearance: cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma: nice generic fruit nose, some oak. Taste: along the same lines, round and balanced. Overall: awesome one.

Bottle at home from RAD. Hazy deep golden colour with a thin head. Aroma and taste are dry slight fruity sweet to tart. Slight damp hay. Smooth body.

0,75l bottle at home. Crown cork says 2015. BB 2034. opens with a loud plob, not a gusher though. dark yellow hazy color, super big white head. smells funky, oak, wood, dusty, bit herbal, vinous. nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes oxidized, ripe fruits, bit bitter/sweet, grassy, earthy, marzipan, tad metallic. finishes with a light bitter and oxidation notes, grass and pepper. bit of a disappointment this one, rather oxidized, not the biggest fan.

Flaska från Etre, 2021. Guldfärgad med hög vit krona. Hög fräschör, mycket stall, funk, citronsyra, lite gröna äpplen. Mycket gott.

Bottle at In De Verzekering Tegen De Grote Dorst. Aroma is hitting a lot- apricots, cherries, light perfume. Bright gold. Taste is hitting similar notes. It's somewhat sweet, some metal in the back. It's a good geuze but not the best.
