Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.
Brewed between 2010 and 2016.

From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Decent hoppy-soapy (I guess it’s the Belgian yeast) brew.

Bottle from The Drinkery, Londonderry, NH. Aroma is strong combination bready malts, yeasty dough, fruity pineapple. Appearance is golden brown with three-finger creamy off-white head with attractive lacing, nice sparkle. Taste is early and late mild hop bitterness with sweet malty/fruity middle with mild sour and pleasant bitter finish. Palate is medium bodied creamy texture with lively carbonation. Overall, this is really, really good. Less overwhelmingly hoppy than a typical IPA (probably thanks to the Belgian slant), which is exactly why I like it. It touches all the senses in a great way.

12 oz bottle. Pours an orange/amber with moderate head. Aromas of sweet malts, toffee, dough, and light pine. Flavors of Belgian yeast, sweet oranges, light pine, and toasted malts. Nice enough though nothing really special.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy bright orange with a fairly large white head. Nose brings out a mix of Belgian yeast, orange peel, and piney hops - well-balanced on the nose. Flavour is similar, with floral hops, Belgian yeast and light orange peel upfront in good balance. Finishes on soapy, floral notes, with the yeasty notes also prominent. Yeastiness becomes a bit much for me towards the end. Still pretty good, but not really my thing.

Keg @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a rosy amber with lasting white head. Aroma is tangerine and mango. Tropical fruit hops dominate creating a moreish IPA bite. Couldn’t quite feel any Belgian aspects, no spice or whatnot, but a nice IPA nonetheless.

17th Feb 2015: half-pint, on tap in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Tangerine coloured body with a full, lasting beige head. Big nose of citrus and piney hops, the taste leaning more towards a fruity maltiness with orange/tangerine flavours. Liquid marmalade feel to the whole brew: I liked it.
